Sažetak
Latin term bona, which could be roughly translated as patrimony, was not a precise legal concept in Roman law. Different fragments from the Digest, some of which stem partly from the postclassical period, have different defintions of bona. Its field of application is therefore best to determine by understanding one of the main fields in which it was used, missio in bona and venditio bonorum, or the enforcement of debts in the formulary procedure.
