Sažetak
Declaration of war in the ancient Roman society (iustum bellum) was an elaborate procedure involving several different stages. Older romanist studies asserted connection between that procedure and different legis actiones in Roman law. After an in-depth analysis of the sources, contrary to the popular opinion, certain similarities can be found only specifically in regard to the legis actio per condictionem. Mutual features of those two procedures indicate comparable level of their immersion into the ancient Roman religious practices.
