Sažetak
Aim of the research was to assess the dry matter (DM) productivity of the main energy crops for biogas production and cattle nutrition in Dalj – the whole crop sorghums and whole crop corn. The research was conducted in two parts. First part was conducted as a field trial in medium-yielding environment of Dalj 2013 and was characterized with modest soil fertilization (300 kg/ha NPK) and drought summer. Sorghum KWS Tarzan yielded 17, 0 tha-1 per DM in average while sorghum KWS Zerberus yielded 14, 4 tha-1 per DM. These two sorghum genotypes were used in second part of the research which was anaerobic codigestion with fresh cattle manure. With the calculation of produced biomass to biogas conversion, it is possible to produce 11313, 5 m3 of biogas per hectare using sorghum KWS Tarzan, while using sorghum KWS Zerberus it is possible to produce 14329, 4 m3 of biogas per hectare.
