Sažetak
Each higher education online course is different in its content. However, authors in this paper try to identify their common elements, i.e., common structure of online courses. More specifically, in order to achieve better online course quality, their aim is to identify common types of activities and resources that should be present in each higher education online course. In this paper they use online survey to gather data and analyse students online course expectations. The survey sample consists of 91 University of Zagreb students. The survey results show students experience, attitude and interest towards e-learning and what type of online course activities and resources they expect and require in an online course. The results show that significant number of students have positive attitude towards e-learning and they welcome e-learning at their university. Among various activities and resources students expect to find inside an online course, such as course calendar, readings, lectures, exams schedule, attendance, assignments, grades, etc., there is a need for more activities which enable better and more efficient online synchronous and asynchronous communication between students and teachers.
