Sažetak
After we have started the negotations with EU, today, after 2 - 3 years of structural reforms in agriculture and the implementation of operative programmes aiming at the increase of competitivity and the producers income, if we drew a line and looked back, we could say: progress has been made, the negative trends of the importation of food have finally been put to a halt. The export has increased by almost 30%, while imports have increased by only 12%. These results areencouraging and affirm that the agricultural sector and the food processing industry in croatia do have a future.
