Sažetak
With increasing human population growth and at the same time larger waste production, the challenge to protect human health and environment is greater then ever. Since the life on planet Earth is based on perfectly balanced “cradle to grave” concept it is clear that human civilization, by its daily activities and habits, has high, but at the same time, very negative influence on the overall eco-system. In order to establishing affordable and modern waste management system the same should be design primarily in “circular” way with aim to change human view on the waste issue – the waste is actually valuable resource and our activities and energy should be focused on its efficient utilization. Nevertheless, If the resource oriented waste management systems produce materials that are not required by the end user or its quality doesn’t match demand only increase of costs shall be achieved without any true positive economical benefits, which shall eventually lead to complete system failure. Therefore, the approach in the waste management system development shouldn’t be blindly followed. Contrary, it should be carefully developed with greater significance given to its flexibility with aim to survive in its natural ambient.
