Sažetak
The photovoltaic emulator (PV emulator) described in the paper is used for laboratory exercises in courses: Renewable energy sources, Emergency/ Standby Power Supply Systems on the Graduate (Master) Studies in Electrical Engineering - Power Systems Engineering and Principles of Power Electronics on Undergraduate (Bachelor) Studies in Electrical Engineering as well as for scientific research relating to setting optimal photovoltaic system for the regional climatic elements. Detailed description for the subsystems of PV emulator as well as possibility of DC programmable sources as ones of the subsystem is given. It is shown how the electricity production from photovoltaic system, with peak power up to 12 kW can be emulated by using PV emulator for one, chosen day in the month.
