Sažetak
There are various reasons for introducing temporary traffic regulation but it is usually introduced due to construction works on the road or by the road. Such situations are always potential dangers for all road users and work staff as well. Temporary traffic regulation in cities can be highly complicated so it is essential to organize it without making mistakes. Mistakes made at this stage are difficult to remove and they require additional expenditure of financial and material resources. Optimal solutions for temporary traffic regulation are those that balance the needs of road users (travel needs) and needs of work staff (to carry out construction works safely). In order to increase traffic safety within a temporary traffic regulation zone, proper application of principles, recommendations, advice and suggestions in making temporary regulations have to be applied.
