Sažetak
The paper evaluates the efficiency in estimating the cyclically adjusted budget balance according to the EC official methodology. An estimated DSGE model as data generating process enables to measure the true cyclical and structural component of budget figures and thus contrast obtained results to the same estimated by means of the EC official approach.
