During his voyage to the Council of Ferrara, Sylvester Syropoulos sailed along the eastern Adriatic coast. He left a brief description of the journey and some remarks on the places he saw. His description is compared to and complemeted by reports of some other foreigners who sailed the same rout approximately at the same time.
