Sažetak
The paper outlines the distributed application platform, which exists in the frame of distributed processing environments and implements different kinds of technologies for realization these applications. On the intermediary platform, between network and application layers, it needs to select the right technology. The Web-based approach with the XML protocol and the middleware approach with the CORBA architecture are presented. After an analysis of several approaches the way for technology selection is given.
