Sažetak
In printing, as well as any other production process, machines and devices are calibrated in order to achieve predictable and repeatable results. Aligning the process parameters to specific aimed values requires tools and devices. This study investigates the drawbacks of calibration target design that can reduce calibration accuracy. The performance of P2P25Xa target used as G7 Method tool was evaluated on a laser printer. The target design was then analysed in order to determine possible sources of error. The target was then redesigned and its performance evaluated. The redesigned target showed improvements in terms of the calibration process accuracy.
