Sažetak
The gastrointestinal tract in neonates has it own anatomical and functional characteristics that are different from those in older children and adults. The most common pathological disorders that present in newborn period include developmental anomalies, conditions resulting from the immaturity and genetic disease. In this article we present an overview of the most common pathological conditions and available conventional diagnostic methods.
