Sažetak
2, 3 butanedione monoxime (BDM) is very effective uncoupler of the excitation- contraction process which could be useful as an adjunct for cardioplegic solutions. Our aim was to determine whether BDM has a protective effect on improving cardiac function and reducing the development of dysrhytmias following severe hypoperfusion.
