Summary: Here we report the results obtained by applying the CRISP programme to analyse iron doped TiO2 in presence of polyethylene glycol (PEG). Two representative samples were analysed: as prepared (S1) and annealed at 5000C (S2). Performing the Fourier filtering with different filtering masks, it was possible to isolate the separate planes introduced into the correct order of particular family of planes forming observed anatase (a) grain. The infiltration of PEG planes into anatase planes were also revealed. In the annealed sample (S2) grain growth of the TiO2 anatase was observed, the TiO2 rutile, as well as the other polymorphs. Fourier filtering reveals at the atomic level the overlapped and intergrown planes in nanocrystalline grains and grain boundaries.
