Sažetak
Authors presented working time regulation in Croatia as last regulated by Labour Act of 2014. In the first part some basic legal and economic considerations regarding working time organisation were elaborated that should be taken into account when law making. In the second part main international and domestic legal instruments address working time have been mentioned. In more detail has been elaborated on recent changes in WT regulation in Croatia. Some statistical indicators have been provided. In the third part critical observations on working time regulation have been presented from 3 perspectives, namely the health and safety, enterprise productivity and work-life balance. Gender perspective has also been taken into account.
