Sažetak
In order to overcome the stimulation threshold risen through anaesthesia, short high current pulses are used for intraoperative motor evoked potentials monitoring. Since stimulating pulses may cause tissue damage, especially at the electrode-skin interface, their parameters as well as electrode-skin parameters must be kept under controll during stimulation. In this paper, the design of an appropriate transcranial electrical stimulator is discussed.
