Sažetak
Archaeometric analyses were carried out on 42 ceramic sherds originating from the Eastern necropolis of Issa.The aim of this study is to characterise the ceramic material both mineralogically and geochemically in order to inferr the local manufacture technology and artefacts’ provenance. We further aim to describe the socially embedded context of ceramic production and seaborne pottery trade in Issa during the Hellenistic period.
