Sažetak
Once Croatia became a Member State of the European Union, it started implementing the EU Cohesion policy. Through the Instrument of Pre- accession Assistance (IPA), Croatia has been preparing for the implementation of Cohesion policy, as IPA to a large degree follows the principles of structural funds and the Cohesion Fund. Thus, the experience gained and lessons learnt during implementation of pre-accession funds are of high importance for better preparation for structural and Cohesion funds. In this paper we provide the audiance with the lessons learnt and particularities in managing and absorption of the EU pre-accession funds in Croatia.
