Sažetak
Bleached cotton and polyester/cotton fabrics were laundered at 60°C through 10 cycles with standard ECE detergent, with the addition of UV absorbers on its own and in a combination with two types of fluorescent whitening agents. Simultaneously, the samples were laundered through 10 cycles with the basic detergent containing perborate and TAED at the same conditions. Laundered samples after each laundering cycle were exposed to artificial light. Light fastness was evaluated through monitoring the whiteness degree and UV protection. It has been proved considerable sensitivity of UV absorbers to light, although irradiation does not reduce the Ultra Protection Factor and protection properties.
