Sažetak
Fifty patients with inflammatory bowel disease (12 with Mb Crohn, 30 with ulcerative colitis and 18 with nonclassified inflammatory bowell disease) wiuth seronegative spondyloarthropathies were followed up for i9 years. The diagnosis was based on clinical findings, colonoscopy and ileoscopy with biopsy specimens for pathohistology, laboratory and immunologic examinations. The patients were initialy treated with sulfasalazine. During the nine year period, the patients treated with a mean daily dose of sulfasalazine of 2, 9 g showed a lower recurence rate of Spondyloarthropathies ang colon inflammation (P<0, 01).
