Sažetak
On California seal lions and Northern elephant seal lumbosacral plexus was investigated. In 9 California sea lion and 2 Northern elephant seal femoral nerve rises from ventral branches of the 3rd and 4th lumbar nerves, whilst in one male and two speciments of Northern elephant seal 5th lumbar nerve also participated. Ventral branches of the 3rd and 4th lumbar nerves comprise obturator nerve in 7 speciments, in three specimens 5th lumbar nerve additionally supplements the obturator nerve. In Northern elephant seal obturator nerve originates from ventral branches of 3rd, 4th and 5th lumbar nerves. Ischiadic nerve originates from ventral branches of the 4th, 5th lumbar and 1st sacral nerves in 8 specimens California sea lion and 2 North elephant seal. In 2 specimens all of species 2nd sacral nerve also participates in. Gluteal nerve created ventral branches of 5th lumbar and 1stsacral nerves in three specimens, however in one specimen 4th and 5th lumbar nerves gave rise to the same nerve in Northern elephant seal. In California sea lion gluteal nerve originates from ventral branches of the 5th lumbar nerve in seven specimens, however in 3 specimens 4th lumbar nerve also participates in its origin. Ventral branches of the 1st, 2nd and 3rd sacral nerves originate caudal cutaneous sure nerve. Ventral branch of the 2nd and 3rd sacral nerve give rise to the cluneal nerves in all Northern elephant seal and in 9 California sea lion and in one specimen these nerves originated just from 3rd sacral nerve.
