Sažetak
Possible associations between HLA-DR1, HLA-DR4, and HLA-B27 antigens alone or in combinations, and laboratory, radiological findings and features of clilnical status were analyzed in 175 patients with rheumatoid arthritis. HLA-DR1 was associated significantly with the absence of vasculitis, Raynaud's phenomenon, tenosynovitis and sacroiliitis in seronegative patients. HLA-B27 was associated significantly with the less swollen joints and tenosynovitis, and with the presence of iritis, sacroiliitis in seronegative patients, shoulder involvement and reduced Schober's test. HLA-DR1 in combination with HLA-B27 was associated significantly with the presence of fourth development stage hip involvement and increased levelsof seum CRP.HLA-DR4 in combination with HLA-B27 was associated significantly with the presence of coxitis and feet small joints involvement and reduced Schober's test.HLA-DR4, HLA-DR4 in combination with HLA-DR1, and HLA-DR4 in combination with HLA-DR1 and B27 were not associated significantlywith differences in the presence of any laboratory findings, radiological changes or other features of clinical status. In majority of patients the disease started between 31-50 years. However there was a statistically significant correlation between mode of the onset and seasonal variants (p<0.005). RA started abruptly more often in springtime, and more insidiously in autumn.
