Sažetak
There are many possible reasons for significant changes in company top management. Mentioned above often happens as a result of owners decision, bad business performance, promotion, switching to another employer, retirement or someone’s “moving on”. Every company has certain vision and mission, rules, goals, values, habits, norms and many other characteristics that shape company policy. All mentioned may change with time, as a consequence of new laws, standards, experiences, will of company owners or even will of individual for example. This impact is mutual - people may also change their behavior, values, goals, attitude or belief, as a result of the influence of company in which they work in. The authors try to answer the question whether people who work in top management should have more influence on company policy or vice versa? Answering this question contributes to overall business performance because different management often show different results. Since changes in top management can have both positive as well as negative effects, crucial thing is to discover right balance in mutual interaction between person and company.
