Sažetak
The hypermobility of joints shows in some diseases of locomotor system: scoliosis, congenital hips and patelle dislocation, relapsing shoulder dislocation, Marfan's and Ehler-Danlos' syndrome, osteogenesis imperfecta and others. In the researach were included 632 schoolyoungs in the age from 9 to 18 years. Out of that number were 446 schoolgirls and 166 schoolboys. We did the examination of locomotor system of all examinees, and payed special aattention to joints hypermobility. For that purpose we used criteria after Beighton et al. where is the range of scoring between 0-9. Criteria 4 and 5 were found in 16.3% of schoolgirls nad in 4.8% of schoolboys. The joint hypermobility was found quiet often. The mobility score 6 to 9 was found in 89 examiners (12, 5%) and that was in 67 schoolgirls out of 466(14.3%) and in 22 out of 166 schoolboys (13.2%). The frequency of joints hypermobility is high in our schoolchildrens population and there are no relevant difference between both schoolgirls and schoolboys.
