Sažetak
The aim of this research was to determine nursing students’ habits and attitudes regarding mobile technology usage in education and clinical practice. Interdisciplinary approach of this research also addresses the students’ knowledge and usage of device disinfection guidelines, with purpose of preventing the cross contamination. 282 respondents participated in the research. The results indicate that mobile electronic technology usage is very common among nursing students’, but not in a clinical setting. Technology is important in the educational process for more than a half of the nursing students, and the usage of the technology for instructional purposes is very often. Nursing students in majority agree that applying technology increases the quality of provided care and also understand the risks of infection via mobile electronic technology in a clinical settings.
