Sažetak
The starting premise of this paper is that the economic development in all economic and political systems highly depends on small businesses. Therefore, many developed countries are dependent of small businesses and their management. Within this macro management, technological development centers are often used as an effective tool. The author identifies the essential elements of the accession to the organization of technological centres. it is emphasized that technology centers are actually organized research and development units and as such embryos for future small business. As part of increasing the efficiency of their activity the author finds it important to define their goals, organization, and financing processes
