Sažetak
Under conditions of globalization and rapid economic changes, especially in terms of cyclical crisis and recession, main importance lies within the intensity of the structure and raw material dependence of one country and its industry. This issue is especially important when it comes to the development of the Croatian economy and its industry. This paper analyses the structure of procurement of Croatian industrial firms in terms of different types of raw materials and intermediate goods, which the firm acquired outside the Croatian borders. It is also an indirect way to determine import dependence in the totally of the Croatia economy and the dependence of its individual branches. This paper analyses the trends and changes in the structure of industrial procurement by individual branches for a period of 10 years. Changes in the structure of procurement of Croatia industrial firms from import indicate the development or stagnation of Croatian industry in the period considered within totally, and stagnation or growth in some of its parts. The analysis period of 10 years procurement determines the movement, development and stagnation of Creation industry as well as the dependence of the total Croatian economy on raw materials and industrial potential of foreign countries.
