Sažetak
Different sources of literature recognize the relevance of enterprise resource planning (ERP) solutions for firms across the world. This paper presents how Enterprise resource planning (ERP) and knowledge management (KM) contribute to organizational agility. The authors analyze the way firms deal with internal intelligence to facilitate the identification of information needs and to generate the appropriate response to such needs. Research methodology includes multiple case studies of ERP solution providers and companies with ERP implementations operations experience from different fields. The findings indicate that investment in ERP systems strongly supports the development of KM in organization. This results in increasing efficiency and capabilities. The article develops a framework to help companies in assessing how IT /ERP applications support their KM behaviours: Future studies mainstreams are presented.
