Sažetak
Dinaric evaporite melange is composed of sabkha type evaporite, carbonate and clastic rocks and spilitized basaltic rocks. The focus of this thesis are magmatic rocks of the Kosovo, Sinjsko and Vrličko karst field and surrounding evaporite rocks. The main aims of this investigation are: 1) petrographic analysis of magmatic and evaporite rocks, 3) determination of mineral chemistry in magmatic and evaporite rocks using electron microprobe (EMP) analysis 3) estimation of P-T conditions during the formation of magmatic rocks. Based on primary mineral assemblage, magmatic rocks are classified as amphibole-bearing gabbro/diorite according to IUGS classification. The rocks show variety of grain sizes, thus are divided into fine grained, medium grained and coarse grained rocks. Evaporite rocks are according to petrographic analysis divided into massive anhydrite, nematoblastic anhydrite, porphyroblastic gypsum, granoblastic gypsum and breccia facies. Minerals of five magmatic rocks were analysed using EMP and chemistry of plagioclase, amphibole, chlorite, Fe-oxide, prehnite, clinozoisite and ilmenite was carefully determinated. Plagioclase, amphibole and chlorite minerals were classified according to amount of certain elements (plagioclase Na, Ca, K ; amphibole Si, Al, Ti, Mg, Fe ; chlorite Mg, Al, Fe). Temperature and pressure of formation for amphibole grain were calculated on the basis of amphibole and plagioclase chemistry. According to this, P-T conditions for primary and secondary amphiboles are determined. Temperature of chlorite formation is estimated too.
