Sažetak
Stilbene derivative trans-9-(4-cyanostyryl)-2,3,6,7-tetrahydro-1H,5H-pyrido-[3,2,1-i,j]-quinoline (julolidine stilbene, JSB) and its three deuterium labelled isotopomers were prepared by the Wittig-Horner-Emmons method. Their 1H and 13C NMR, infrared, Raman and mass spectra were recorded and assigned. Reaction mechanism and problems that occurred during the synthesis of a series of deuterium labelled isotopomers were followed by a combined spectroscopic analysis. For example, in order to aviod exchange of deuterium with hydrogen in the olefinic bridge, deuterium labelled solvents should be used. Th emost important results relevant to push-pull stilbenes will be discussed.
