Sažetak
In this text Helena Peričić tries to show how intertextuality functions in a particular literary text or genre (the dramatic text) - with special reference to the postmodern era, in which we witness the reflection of the formal and thematic elements belonging to the "original" and "national"/"traditional"/culture and literature (here used or applied as the so called pre-text) onto a new culture, i. e., literary works very often characterised with appropriations, allusions and borrowings. On the basis of some works by Ivan Slamnig, Antun Šoljan and Luko Paljetak, the crossing of boundaries of home cultural and literary space into the foreign has been achieved by means of different formal, narrative and expressive elements. The functional creative "exile" in those plays is reflected in the macro-units of the text: from the names, motifs, socio-historical and mythological elements to the intertextual procedures in the relation with the foreign literature, that is, the way the author expresses the attitude and the general tone of the work, either parodic or travestic, metafictional or metametric, and especially ludic (based on the puns, elements of lasciviousness, auto-referentiality, trivialisation of the literary and artistic act and so on).
