Sažetak
This chapter traces the growth of the Partisan resistance movement in the various parts of occupied Yugoslavia during the Second World War. Although the focus is on the communist-led Partisans, the chapter also explains the various forms of collaboration and non-communist resistance across the former Yugoslavia. There is also a discussion of post-1990 memory politics, historiographical debates, and post-war repression by the victorious Partisans.
