Sažetak
The aim of the research is to compare search terms used by users for subject retrieval to those provided by librarians in bibliographic records. This is the first research that deals with Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences Library on-line catalogue and its users. We still do not have any information on the percentage of overlapping of subject terms between users and librarians, and the results will give us some relevant data concerning users' needs and their perception of subject retrieval. This research could provide the basis for further evaluation of subject retrieval and subject analysis in Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences Library on-line catalogue and finally, for helping to create more user-friendly catalogue.
