Sažetak
The aim of the study was to determine the hardness of the steel surface after the turning of duplex coated carbide tools. The study included measuring the hardness of the machined surface in the turning process of duplex stainless steel for different cutting conditions. Hardness measurements were performed for different cutting speeds and for wet and dry cutting conditions. The measurement results were compared for test cutting tools: Tl tool coated with a ceramic intermediate layer and T2 multilayer coating tool. The study was performed for the HV10 hardness and the results were statistically analysed.
