Sažetak
Teh bilaminar zone is a structure of soft tisue at the posterior part of the temporomandibular joint. Collagen fibers of the inferior retrodiscal lamina have influence to stabilisation of the disc on the mandibular condyle at the sagittal plane. Aim of the work: To examine the degree of adaptatioj of the bilaminar zone in the temporomandibulat joints by means of a manual examination method ond to establish the prevalence and statistically significant interdependence of loading vectors. Material and methods: In the examination of frequency and type of changes in soft tissues of temporomandibular joints of 190 recruits at tile age of 19-27, examination methods of manual functional analysis were applied. Results: In their anamnesis 6 (3,2%) subjects show a symptom of pain in the temporomandibular joint area. Among individual loading directions the most frequent is a dorsocranial and dorsocraniolateral vector for the left and right temporomandibular joint. Decompensated capsulitis of the bilaminar zone was established in 22 (11,6%) subjects on the left and in 12 (6,3%) subjects on the right side. Decompensated capsulitis of the bilaminar zone was established in 4 (2,1%) subjects on each side. By methods of non-parametric statistics statistically significant dependences between the pain symptom and diagnoses and certain loading vectors in the left and right temporomandibular joint were established. Conclusion: In a healthy temporomandibular joint pain cannot be provoked by passive compressions. A distributed morphological state of the bilaminar zone was provoked by passive compression in a consistent sample of younger men.
