Sažetak
MnO2 is one of the most promising materials with supercapacitive properties why it is currently extensively investigated. In order to improve its properties various methods of MnO2 preparation have been attempted or different composites of MnO2 with carbon nanotubes, conductive polymers or carbon materials were studied [1]. The aim of this paper was to prepare MnO2/polypyrrole composite material by electrodeposition or chemical synthesis in order to find optimal conditions for preparation of material with improved capacitive properties. PPy is suitable for composite formation since it is active in neutral medium where stable form of MnO2 exists. All samples were tested in 0.5 mol dm-3 Na2SO4 using Cyclic voltammetry, Electrochemical impedance spectroscopy, and Quartz crystal nano-balance.
