Sažetak
Aim of this poster presentation is to present the femail group of bereaved mothers with some selected vignettes. In vignettes we describe two dreams about decased and remaining children. The setting of group: The group was small, analyticali oriented, slow-open, homogenous regardig to the gender and to the lost ( three childrena died regardin the car exident, two regarding the malignant desease and one regarding the sudden cardiac death) and condacted by the first. femail author. It was formed spontaneously following the needs of clinical practise. It met an hour a week and lasted over three years. Curently the grop is not active. One of reason that group was femail is the fact that mothers may differ from fathers in coping with the process of morning. Mother express more intensive grief and for a longer period than fathers. (Goldmann- Posch). Cantarella, emphasized that in the female group can be noticed the creation of a specific climata of trust. Theoretical introduction Morning (bereavement) is a set of conscious and unconscious mental processes, so colled the work of mouning/Trauerarbeit ( Freud) initiated by loss during which the bereaved person reviews and relinqushes emotional ties to the lost object. Most of authors (Volkan, Polock) contributed that berevemet after the loss of own child hasen't gott the end. Volkan introduiced the termin „perineal mourners“. Some authors (Klass) highlighed the role of continuing bonds betwen bereaved parent and lost child. Klass stressed that bonding with death children throught the dreames need not be pathologica. To our knowledge the issue of dreams in a bereavment therapy group has been scarcely reported in the literature. Vignettes 1. WORK WITH BEREAVED MOTHER AND THEIR REMAINING CHILD 2. THE SURVIVAL GUILT Conclusion In presented group women had a need to share their very vivid dreams of their deceased children. The therapist felt the verbalized dreams to be a reflection of the mutual trust developed amd viewed the dreams as an extremely valuable gift. This group represented a unique sample according to the spceific type of loss. Unnatural loss may add a traumatic character to the loss, making mourning especially difficult. Processing of intensive feelings associated with dreams, greately helped in facilitatig the process of mourning while in parallel stimulated the development of group dynamics. The mother often stated that they would have had a hard time if they had not dreamt of their deceased children and that the dreams brough them relief.
