Sažetak
Considering the previous studies that point to problems in the software process development (high costs, low productivity of development team, low usability, etc.), we conclude that the causes of the problem should be solved in the processes that produce the final result. Process quality directly affects the quality of the product. The purpose of the paper is to present the ISO/IEC 15504 standard and analyze the structure of the process assessment model (PAM) within the ISO/IEC 15504-5 standard (SPICE model).The authors in the paper analyzed the obtained results based on the conducted assessment using SPICE model within the specific software organization. Based on this research, the authors emphasize the need for further development of such a model, not only for the software but also for complex IT systems as well as IT services.
