Sažetak
Author analises the Croatian Offering to the Public and Trading in Securities Act from the parspectives of EU Directives. The basic solutions provided by both sources has been presented, discussed and compared.According to the author's sugesstion, the Croatia has undertaken significant efforts to harmonize its laws and regulations with that part of EU legislation which has been harmonized within the Union by means of Council Directives in the area referred to as "securities". A general overview has shown that the subject matter of the Directives is also regulated in Croatia, i.e., any legal gaps in the field of regulation have not yet been found.
