Sažetak
Major aim of this thesis was to reconstruct macroevolutionary history of several vertebrate organ systems using a genome phylostratigraphy and related methods.Obtained results agree with the Butler's serial transformation hypothesis and they revealed a deep evolutionary history and the stepwise evolution of head sensory organs and vertebrate brain.
