Sažetak
We analyzed a group of 37 patients with an established failure of vertebrobasilar circulation and the Menieres disease who had been treated with vasoactive and antiplatelet drugs (cinnarizine, betahistine and aspirin). Diagnosis was confirmed on the basis of clinical, neurophysiological, neurotological and ultrasonographic examinations. The results of ultrasonographic analysis were compared with clinical findings in our patients. In addition we compared patients neurosonologic data with those of the control group (healthy volunteers). Transcranial Doppler ultrasound measurements of real-time blood flow velocities and other blood flow variables and parameters were useful diagnostic tool for evaluation of our treatment.
