Sažetak
Hydrographic survey at the paper include the northern boundary area of the Plitvice Lakes National Park. The aim of this paper is determine hydrogeographic runoff conditions and the water amount at that area, and on the basis of a research results give proposal for the sustainable water management. The hypothesis is that there is the increasing possibility of water contamination and that under impact of climate changes the runoff regime is changing. The quantity and distribution of flow rate were obtained by processing of the main hydrologic data measured on the profile of lake Blata and river Jesenica. Despite the fact, that some complex ecological problems are detected, the water still can be treated as extremely valuable natural resource which can be base for tourism development and energy production.
