Sažetak
The morphosyntactic diversity of human languages raises problems for many commonly held theoretical assumptions. The purpose of this paper is to present phenomena which challenge assumptions about clause structure, grammatical relations and complex sentence structure and to briefly review the theoretical responses to these problems.
