Sažetak
A special laboratory model for investigation of stray losses in transformer tank has been constructed. Stray losses represent the majority of measured total losses of the model what assures high measurement accuracy and certainty. Model consists of an excitation winding, core and a plate that represents transformer tank. Additionally, shields can be mounted on the plate enabling measurement of shielding efficiency. Measured results are compared with FEM calculation in Infolytica's MagNet and show good match up for both linear and nonlinear materials of the plate (tank). In the end, the paper briefly points out the importance of future research in numerical modeling of laminated materials for stray loss calculations.
