Sažetak
The challenge was to develop the versatile and programmable battery and ultracapacitor test setup for research in the filed of energy storage systems modeling and control, and testing various concepts of intelligent battery chargers, SoC/SoH estimators, and energy management subsystems. While the low-level charging/discharging current controllers have been implemented within the dedicated PLC, the high-level control, supervision, measurement signal processing and data logging are implemented on master PC utilizing the National Instruments (NI) LabView software and MyDAQ USB acquisition board.
