Sažetak
Authors are presenting and discussing the last phase of health system decentralization (2000 - 2010) in Croatia. Alhough being proud on the "Healthy Counties" project achievement they recognize that the gap between the best and the worst performing counties is widening. Counties with the more commitment and ability to apply their acquired knowledge are ready to assume more responsibility through future extension of decentralization, while others are only at the begining of this process and less capable of managing their decentralized responsibilities.
