Sažetak
Karst morphology characterizes the area of Nature Park "Telašćica", covering SE part of the island Dugi Otok. In this micritic-type limestone dominated area, abundance and size of karst features is also controlled by tectonic, structural, geomorphologic, climatic and pedologic features. Regional compression created tectonic framework for geomorphologic processes and development of karst forms. Local climatic conditions (precipitation and temperature) impact length and intensity of corrosion, whereas topography and slope inclination control water percolation pathways and consequently, local intensity of corrosion process.
