Sažetak
Dynamic capabilities have increasingly been recognized as an important, if not as the most important key to organizational success. Modern approaches to strategy and competitive advantage emphasize the importance of internal resources and capabilities for organizational performance. Organizations are finding new ways of creating value by turning to internal organizational strengths and creation of competitive advantage based on capabilities. Dynamic capabilities in that sense provide an additional value by allowing organizations to constantly improve and advance their existing practices. Understanding capabilities and their development inside organizations however is not simple and easy. It is a long term process under the influence of various factors that have numerous interactions. The purpose of this paper is to provide a theoretical and practical overview on the importance of dynamic capabilities inside organizations. The results of the empirical research that was conducted among 113 Croatian medium and large sized organizations in February 2012 will be analyzed and discusses. Different statistical methods, such as correlation and regression analyses have been used for the analysis of the importance of the dynamic capabilities among Croatian companies and their influence on organizational success
