Sažetak
The strength of the European economy are Small and Medium-sized industrial Enterprises (SMEs). However, the global economic crisis has compromised their normal business flow. The solution is often seen in their mutual networking in highly flexible Virtual Enterprises. Thus, this paper deals with the Virtual Enterprise formation process. In that process it is necessary to determine which enterprise to choose, with what characteristics and according to which criteria. It is obvious that the Virtual Enterprise formation process requires the use of multi-criteria decision-making, i.e. use of methods for multi-criteria analysis and decision-making, methods like PROMETHEE method.
